We have learned through more than forty years of working with unions that the best way to get an educational message across to the members is to start the process with the Executive Board, Business Representatives, Chief Stewards and Stewards. We provide a complimentary Plan and Savings Analysis to each of them modeling what we provide the members. A checklist of Scarborough’s service support includes the following:

    • Set up retirement planning workshops with the input and cooperation of the Local. Scarborough prepares flyers announcing the workshop and we ask for the Local’s help in distributing them
    • For Local publications, we have a library of retirement planning and investment articles and regularly write a column for several Locals
    • At the invitation of the Local, we attend meetings for the Executive Board, Business Representatives, Chief Stewards and Stewards
    • Provide 401(k) solutions to your Local staff or to companies that employ your members
    • Advisory services for Local Union reserve funds
